In 2019, security researcher Nick Cano called out BlueStacks for a significant security flaw in the app that could let hackers steal users’ data and inject malware into their computers. Once you link your account, you can use the emulator to its full potential and do whatever you want.
However, I suggest you use an alternate Google account because I don’t recommend linking your main account with many third-party services. Hence, you can enter your Google account to safely access the Play Store to download apps. When you initially launch BlueStacks, it asks you to link your Google account, like a new Android device. The Android emulator has all of Google’s services, including the Play Store, generally requiring a Google sign-in. Is BlueStacks safe for your Google Account? Even if the app is safe to use, you should adhere to basic digital privacy practices. You can go ahead and install BlueStacks if you need it because it’s legitimate. In addition, BlueStacks is a trustworthy company supported by various industry leaders like Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. Hence, applications from untrusted sources might contain malware. To clarify, all apps that you install have limited access to your system information. However, if you install apps from third-party websites or untrusted sources, there’s no certainty of it being safe. Then hit bluestacks and end task.If you install BlueStacks and only download and use apps from the Google Play Store, it is safe. To do this hit Ctrl (cmd on mac (don't know if this works on mac but I figure it would be easier as swgoh is supported by apple and not windows/samsung)) + Alt + Delete and hit Task Manager. I am not sure if that has to do with swgoh or notĪdditionally, make sure bluestacks is fully closed if it is running in the background restarting bluestacks will do nothing.
It took me till level 12 on my newer account for it to give me the option to login to my old one. If you can't find the login for a google account, you may have to level a bit on this account. I went through the process to login to my old google account lately because I got a new computer. This is because bluestacks always reverts to the account saved to the device and not saved to another account (google, EA, or otherwise) (my main account is linked to my google account) I play on bluestacks 5 and can usually access my main account by closing bluestacks and reopening it.
